Indie artists are often seen as a more creative, passionate, and dedicated group of people.Β
They are usually self-taught and work on their own projects.Β
They may lack the financial backing of a larger record label, but they continue to create art because they believe in it.Β
Being an indie artist means having to be your own boss, deal with rejection and keep a positive attitude.Β
Indie artists don't always have the biggest fan base. π«π¬ππ§βπ€βπ§Β
They are usually not known outside of their immediate communities and may have to work harder to find a market for their music.Β
However, they are often more creative, driven, and focused than those who get record contracts.Β
That may all be true to an extent, but that doesn't mean it is easy. πΒ
To be honest, I find it quite challenging at times.π©Β
My hurdles can range from poor planning to insufficient funds.Β
But sometimes also a lack of focus, difficulty finding and keeping my standard of quality up, inadequate marketing, and difficulties finding an audience.Β
Nevertheless, I'm already thinking about releasing single number four!Β
