The existential question of whether this is collapse or just disorientation
Biography
I’m a Manchester-based musician β born in the gritty south of the Netherlands, uprooted from everything familiar, and moved to the city to chase the thing I actually wanted to do. Music that hits you in the chest.
It started with a concert. Paul McCartney, Antwerp, 2003. I walked out knowing what I needed to do with my life, picked up a guitar and never put it down. Then in 2009, watching Oasis in Cologne, the decision was made: Manchester. No half measures.
I’m a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. The sound is guitar-driven pop and rock β classic vibes with a modern edge. Every riff, every lyric, every note gets everything I’ve got.
The songs are built on hooks that stick, harmonies that lift, and a roaring guitar underneath it all. Listeners describe their mood after a Julience track as happy, energised, optimistic β and thoughtful. That range is intentional.
I draw on British and American rock: Oasis, The Beatles, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Springsteen, the Stones, Thin Lizzy. Comparisons have ranged from Rush and Journey to Fall Out Boy and Maroon 5. Make of that what you will.
No label. No AI. No shortcuts. Just one bloke making real music.
